The Rec Center of Sun City West (RCSCW) notified the Spanish Club in late August 2022 that our club’s bylaws had been reformatted as part of their project to standardize bylaws across all chartered clubs.  At that time our Board of Directors made the decision to amend the reformatted bylaws so that they more closely reflected how our club operates today and we submitted the appropriate amendments for approval.  We received notification from the Recreation Manager, Kasey Huhta, that the proposed amendments were approved December 16, 2022.

We are required by RCSCW to provide our club members thirty (30) days’ notice prior to a vote by the membership to accept proposed amendments to our bylaws.  We plan to hold the vote to accept the proposed amendments at the General Meeting on February 13^th during the Valentine Fiesta.
