Book Club!
The Book Club was established to provide an activity for members to read and discuss books of Spanish history, culture and related topics. The club meets the third Wednesday of the month from October through April at members’ homes as well as Zoom meetings. Discussion questions are normally provided in advance to guide the discussions. Books are selected by the members annually. All books are read and discussed in English. No knowledge of Spanish is needed. We welcome and are open to Spanish Club members and their accompanied guests. Information about previous Book Club selections and discussion guides (when available) are accessible as indicated below.
The Book Club will hopefully be continuing in-person meetings for the 2022-2023 year. We have scheduled the meetings and identified those who have volunteered to host the meetings and the book they have chosen to read for the meeting. All members are welcome to attend the meetings. Contact Paul Voorhees if you would like to host a meeting in the future. The meetings usually begin at 2:00 PM, and the current schedule is displayed below.
As discussion questions for each book become available, they can be accessed by clicking on each book title.
